Textes de Yayeth Corpse

Ici je placerai les textes que j'écris pour mon groupe et les commenterai quelque peu.

Là celui-ci n'est pas de moi, mais vient de notre écrivain favori HPL. (1er poème des Funghi de Yuggoth)

THE BOOK

The place was dark and dusty and half-lost
In tangles of old alleys near the quays,
Reeking of strange things brought in from the seas,

Small lozenge panes, obscured by smoke and frost,
Just shewed the books, in piles like twisted trees,
Rotting from floor to roof - congeries

Took up the nearest tome and thumbed it through,
Trembling at curious words that seemed to keep

celui-ci on ne le jouera probablement pas le 11, comme on a de nouveaux morceaux y'a fallu qu'on fasse un choix. Mais bon qui sait si on doit faire plusieurs rappels..........

Là c'est un morceau culte, avec des passages bien blastés et quelques lourdeur bienvenues à des passages clés de l'histoire. En plus notre chanteur répète YAYETH en boucle sur le final et en général les fans n'y résistent pas.

MORBID CATACOMBS

Les trois apôtres, Flo, Stéph et JP, partent à la recherche d’une cité mystique où ils pourront trouver Yayeth et le réveiller de son éternel sommeil. Le monarque du cadavérique les convertira définitivement en leur dérobant, à chacun, un os qu’il incorporera dans son squelette, puis en faisant d’eux des morts-vivants.

Un titre moins speed que la majeure partie de nos compos. Planant et envoutant.

CITY OF PERENNIAL DEATH

Une description de la mythique cité Ibniss Thuat, berceau du culte, qui reprend vie.

Ce titre n'est pas de moi, mais de Darknitter, un de nos gratteux, de plus c'est le premier morceau composé depuis l'arrivée de Tourment (gratteux aussi) au sein du groupe, ce qui a ouvert d'autres perspectives musicales.

FAR BEYOND THE HORNY MOUNT…

Un cultiste de Yayeth parle d’un lieu où des rites initiatiques sont pratiqués.

En parrallèle aux textes traitant de notre Culte, 2 textes évoquent les pensées d'un jeune prêtre catholique qui aura par la suite une place importante au côté de Yayeth.

L'acte de contrition. Pour expier tes fautes, inflige-toi des souffrances. Après ça on dit que le dieu des chrétiens pardonne tous les péchés....enfin faut d'abord passer par la case flagellation !!!

Un prêtre séminariste, en plein doute vis à vis du christianisme, découvre le Culte de Yayeth grâce à l’intervention des 3 apôtres, Excruciate, Darknitter et Impeltor. Il y trouvera tout ce qu’il lui manquait avec sa religion première, et se convertira pour devenir Tourment, un administrateur du culte, et seul être "vivant" autorisé à suivre les pas de Yayeth.

Un titre bien puissant au rythme très "war-machine", un rouleau-compresseur.
